[Product resource] Obtained by the steam distillation of inflorescence of Salvia Sclare L. Salvia Sclare L also named S.sclarea L. or lotus base Saivia officinalis, and is clary sage plant belongs to labiatae family. It Originates in Europe and is mainly produced in France, Russian, Uzbekistan, etc. now. The plant was introduced into China at the beginning of 1970s.
[Distribution of place] Grow in the low mountain area in the north of Shaanxi province. The sharp temperature distinction in two poles and the appropriate humidity and elevation in these areas are suitable for herbal growth, so the products produced here are famous for high ester content and pure fragrance.

[Application scope] Used for preparation of soap, perfume, cigarette essence, cosmetics essence. A small quantity is used in food and wine essence.
